Jack and Isabelle

Isabelle is the girl next door. She came over last night to dig, play hockey & soccer with Jack. The two of them always have lots of fun and play very well together.

Busy Weekend

It was a busy weekend. Friday night I went out to eat with my friend Ali. It was so wonderful having girls night, since I never do it. We met at the restaurant at 6pm and left at 9:30pm... that's right 3.5 hours. We just talked and talked. As we were leaving the manager told us he was about to put us on payroll. Ha!

Saturday, the whole family went to play at fit4fun. Following that, Em and I went food shopping and Michael took Jack to the YMCA pool. The rest of the afternoon we played with the kids before dropping them off at my parents house for an hour. Michael and I went to dinner at Brixx for the first time. I am so thankfully we have my parents close by so Michael and I can chat and have grown-up time.

Sunday, was our normal Sunday meal with my parents but at my house. Lehigh wrestling was on TV which Michael was so excited about. Don't worry Dr. Jon we recorded it for you! As for the rest of Sunday, we played with the kiddos.

18 months

My sweet Em is 18 months old today. She is stubborn, likes to hit and say the word NO... but she also loves to give free kisses out, do everything her brother does, cuddle with her parents and is so stinkin cute!!!! We love you Emma Raye.

Cheese

The weekend started off with my parents taking the kids to Chuck E Cheese Friday night and then to their house for a sleepover. Jack is yelling "Chuck E Cheese" in this picture. While the kids were with my parents, Michael and I celebrated Valentine's Day. We went to dinner and a movie. We were able to sleep in since the kids were not home and then went out to breakfast before picking them up. It was wonderful!
Saturday we met up with the Megan, Vinny, and Griffin at the library for music time.

Yesterday, Monday, I had off for President's Day. We went over to a friends house to play. Tanner is Emma's boyfriend!
After playing with friends, we met up with Grandma for lunch and to look around Toyrus. We were looking for birthday gifts. I can't believe Jack is going to be 4 next month.

Bluewater

Just got back from a "Valentine's lunch" at Bluewater with my parents. Thanks Mom and Dad for the best crab cakes in the world. We were able to sit outside with the sun shining down on us and boat watch.

Treat #3

Today the kids took heart rice krispy treats for a snack. They were so easy to make and I think they turned out pretty cute.

The Week of Valentines

For this week of "love" I am baking some "love" for school. Today Emma and Jack bought cupcakes with gummi hearts on them.

Warm Weather, Cold Water

Wear Red

National Wear Red Day-February 6, 2009-is a day when Americans nationwide will wear red to show their support for women's heart disease awareness.
Here are the kids dressed in red before going to school. Jack wanted to wear all red so we put out a red shirt, red pants, and red underwear.
Me: Jack why did you not put on your red underwear?
Jack: I wanted to wear my Hulk boxers
Me: Why?
Jack: Because there is a hole in them that you can pee out of.

Super Bowl Champions!

Sunday night, the Steelers became the first NFL franchise to win six Super Bowl Championships.

Birthday Boy

On Saturday my dad was not called Pop-Pop by Jack but was called "Birthday Boy." Happy Birthday Dad. We went to my parents house to hang out of a little, then off Michael and I took my dad to the movies. I love going to the movies! Once we got back to the house the celebration began. Jack wanted to know "what kind" of party Pop-Pop was having. I guess he is like this mom... I think theme parties. So we had an old fashion party. We played musical chairs, limbo, scavenger hunt, and drop the clothes pins in the buckets.
