Sunday

While Michael had his free ticket to see the Carolina Panthers, be on the field during pre-game, sit in the box and eat seafood..... the kids and I had our own fun. We met my parents at "Boodles" for breakfast...yummy. We then went to the dock to see all the big boats, then to Wrightsville Beach park, and back to the house for naps. My mom then met up with the kids and I again at the Children's Museum for the their Halloween Storytelling Event. It was a wonderful event. The first picture below was me turning to do the mummy wrap race with Emma. As you can see my toilet paper kept ripping.

Friday and Saturday

Friday night we went to the neighborhood "kids" Halloween get together. We played Halloween games and ate pizza.
Saturday we went to a baseball game. Of course we did not watch much of it. Jack wanted to be on the sidelines hitting his our balls. We then walked over to the playground. I love Emma's face on the swing.

Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar?

Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar?
Emma stole the cookies from the cookie jar.
Who me?
Yeah you!
Couldn't be!
Then who?

Oh I sure remember that song from girl scouts. You have to try Teddy Grahams "Cars"... they are so good.

Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, or Powder Donuts???

Michael and I took the kids to Fit4Fun Activity Center this weekend for their fall festival. Here is Jack bobbing for the powder donuts. I am sure that if they had Krispy Kreme he would have went for that donut. Whenever this Mawmaw and PawPaw Snyder visit from PA, we at least make one stop at Krispy Kreme. We had an amazing time at the festival. We played a lot of games and won a lot of prizes. We made a scarecrow, ate ice cream, and played as hard as we could with all the fun toys.

Battleship Fun

We went to the battleship to see the movie, "Snow White." We got there about 15 minutes early and it was breath-taking. We walked up the bridge to the big beautiful boat and snow white was there to shake our hands. The view was amazing. Sitting in our chairs looking over to downtown Wilmington and waiting with our friends to start the movie. Unfortunately, 15 minutes of beauty is all we had. It started to rain and they canceled the show.

Pirate Time

Last night Chick-fila had their Pirate and Princess Party and of course we had to go. Elizabeth and Kaylee (girls from school) joined us there. There was arts and crafts... Jack decorated a treasure chest and filled it with coins. There was also pictures with the pirates, prizes from the pirate treasure chest, indoor play area, and a blow-up jumpy outside. Fun was had by all. Most of the kids were dressed up and Jack enjoyed "kid watching."

Peek a boo

Emma and I had a good time playing peek a boo last night.

Watch out Michael Jordan

3.5 years down.... many, many years to go....

Jack finally had his 3-year check-up today. We are proud to report that he passed with flying colors! He is 36.6 lbs and 38 inches tall. He had a big growth spurt from year 2-3.... growing roughly 5 inches in height and packing on a few extra pounds. The exponential growth can be attributed mostly to the frequent trips to Chick-fil-A each month.

Toot toot chugga chugga big red car!

Yes the Wiggles. Sing with me. Toot toot chugga chugga big red car. My daughter has one of these cars at school and loves to play with it. Actually she will not let anyone else play with. She loves opening and closing the door, going in and out of the car, and beeping the horn. So I just bought her one for the house. Here she is enjoying her car with her big brother.
