Black Friday

I shopped til I dropped this morning. I found some great things and some great deals. I arrived at Walmart at 6am and then went to the mall. I then met Michael and the kids at jungle rapids. Look at Em's pigtails!!!!!! We had lunch and off to work I went. Yes banks are open today. Thankfully I was able to get the morning off.

At the beach on Thanksgiving Day

Our 2008 Thanksgiving was wonderful. My mom came over early to help me cook our big fest. After a good meal and Jack waking up from his nap we headed to the beach. Yes the beach on Thanksgiving Day!!!! The five of us ( the 5th being Hershey) packed into the Jeep and drove up on the sand. We throw the ball to Hershey, played tag, and were so thankful to have each other.

Thanksgiving Day Morning

This picture was taken at 8 in the morning, right after Gamma arrived with the Pumpkin cookies. They are so yummy.

Thanksgiving

I am so proud of my Jack. While the other kids in his class were saying they were thankful for purple markers, things, toys, etc (which are cute and funny)... our son said he is thankful family and friends.
Happy Thanksgiving to all. I am cooking a Thanksgiving Day meal at 1pm for my parents and Dr. Jon and Jen. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday.

Leave it to Gamma

Aren't these turkey cookies so cute? Gamma called me last night and said she was bringing cookies over so the kids can bring them to school. When I dropped the kids, the cookies, and pin the hat on the turkey off at school, ALL the little munchkins were so excited to eat their treat.

Indoor Water park

This weekend we took a drive to Myrtle Beach to stay in a oceanfront hotel with an indoor water park. Talk about awesome. We meet up the "Lehmer" side of the family. There was my parents, my brother, Shannon, Madison, Bobby, Donna, Zachary, Kayli, Jason, Lilly, Andy, Cody, and my family. We had a lot of laughs, outlet shopping, Thanksgiving meal, and great fun going down the water slides.

15 Month Check-Up

This morning I took the kids to Emma's 15 month check-up. After she got naked, the kids thought it would be fun to hide in the cabinet under the exam table. Emma had a great visit. She is 28.2 pounds and 32.25 in height. Our doctor thought she looked wonderful. I asked the nurse if Jack could get weighted while we were there and he is at 37.2 pounds.

Before and After

Our house is 6 years old with us living in it of 3 years now. Our master bathroom had the standard mirror and ugly lighting so we decided our bathroom needed an upgrade. How do you like it?

Jack and Emma

Each morning the kids and I have some time to play before we go to school and work. Emma really enjoyed riding the 4-wheeler with her best friend. Stay tuned next week for pictures of her on her tractor. I need to get the tractor out of storage today so she can ride like a big girl along side her brother. Thanks Bobby, Donna, Kayli, and Zack for handing down the tractor and 4-wheeler

Last night

Uh Oh

Monster Daddy chasing the kids. It is kind of dark but look at the fear in Emma's eyes.

New Pictures

Recent pictures. From top to bottom.
Top: Jack, Elizabeth, and Kaylee at the beach this weekend. Most of you know that our kids go to an in-home daycare where there is a total of 8 kids with 2 teachers. Elizabeth and Kaylee are one of their teachers kids. They are all such good buddies.
Middle: Jack is fast as lighting!
Bottom: I still can't get over that we have a girl and get to put her hair up like that.

8x10

Just got an 8x10 print made of this picture. There not too many pictures that I am in with the kids since I am always behind the camera. Michael took this pictures of us over the weekend. I think it turned out great.

Kite Festival

If you have never been to the Kite Festival, you HAVE to go next year. It is one of my favorite events in Wilmington. Just look at the pictures.... aren't they beautiful. The weather this Sunday was perfect for the event.
