Trouble Makers

Grandma and Emma "riding" in Great-Grandma's wheelchair at the nursing home. Emma kept saying, "I go riding."

Torquato

We were able to get my Grandma out of the nursing home and bring her home for Christmas. One thing my Grandma and Emma have in common.... popcorn! They ate a whole bowl together.

The beautiful couple.

The grand kids minus my brother, David and Rob. Nina (with John, her son), Chad, me, and Michael

Uncle Lee would have been proud of us. We pulled off our 7-fishes meal and everything tasted great.

Snow Ball Fight

The kids were able to have their first snow ball fight. Boy did we have fun! Sadly, we were not able to go sledding. I called around to several stores and no one had any sleds... maybe next year.

She Did It!

We have seen Santa several times in the 2 years Emma has been around and she would never sit on Santa's lap. Well a few days ago she said she wanted to sit on his lap, and that she did. Yeah Emma!

NC Christmas

Jack got Emma a gum ball machine and I think it is her favorite gift
The garbage truck was a big hit for Jack
Align CenterBig girl bike
Jack has been a pro on a bike since age 3. It was time to get him a bigger bike.

We had a wonderful NC Christmas. We are heading to PA on Wednesday.

North Carolina Christmas Eve

December 18th we had our Christmas Eve in NC. After the kids daycare party we came home to make cookies for Santa, dance to Christmas music and have jolly good time.

Homemade Gifts

The best kind of gifts are homemade. We had a Christmas party at Jack's big boy school today. Isn't this the cutest?

Fun Times

Over the weekend I took the kids to a wonderful Christmas show and after that we came home to watch the Polar Express. Of course we had to have coco and popcorn!

Pinehurst Resort

I had to go on a work trip last week and it ended up being wonderful. TransFirst, who partners up with my bank, reserved a room at the "Carolina" at Pinehurst. The picture above is what the old resort looks like. It has a grand lobby with 4pm tea. My room was gorgeous along with every food I tasted was delicious. Wow.
There was a little downtown area to shop and the spa (sadly I did not have time for the spa). I was spoiled for the night I stayed there. I would love to go back with Michael but I am sure it is WAY too pricey!
***** The pictures above was a village made of all food. Amazing

Daycare Friends

Elizabeth and her sister Kaylee came over for a little play time

Christmas Parade 2009

For the second year in a row, my mom and I took the kids downtown for the Christmas parade. It is always a nice parade but they need more bands in it. The kids love it because we bring popcorn and hot chocolate and they get candy handed to them.

Birthday and Airlie

Happy Birthday to my wonderful mom. She is such a blessing in our lives. We spent her birthday going to Airlie Gardens last night.
