I never take for granted how good of a life I have. I have an amazing husband and two great kids. Good health. A dream house. A well trained dog. And live at the beach. Life is good.

Superheros

We headed to the beach the day after the hurricane. The kids spend a good while playing superheros.

Great Wolf Lodge

We took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC for their last trip before school started. OMG this place was great. There was magic quest, a huge indoor water park, mini golf, outdoor pool, restaurants, arcade, story time and activities for the kids.

We helped Willie the Wolf stomp stomp clap clap and howl like a wolf to open the pool doors.

This thing was awesome. It was like the show wipe-out. The green pads would move all over the place. No surprise that Jack got the hang of it and was able to do it. On the other hand, I did not.

When Emma and I were driving home from our ice cream date last night, she informed me we were not on a date because we did not go dancing. You must go dancing if you are on a date. HA
So when we got home, we did this fun art project together. We had a canvas at home already so all I spent was $.80 for the crayons. My kind of art!
We worked on colors and talked about patterns. Just take a hot glue gun and have your child hand you crayons. Then stick in the oven for maybe 5 minutes. That easy!
