Weekend

We had an absolutely wonderful family weekend. We headed down to Myrtle Beach Friday morning. We first went to Michael's favorite restaurant, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, for a cheeseburger in paradise. Next we went to the Imax theater to see the 3D showing of The Polar Express.



We got some photos with the Christmas decorations, before going to our indoor water park hotel. This was the second year that my parents, my brother & family, Bobby & family (from Charleston), and Jason and & family (from PA) all met for for some family fun.

Along with family time, there was beach time, bocce and baseball playing, water sliding, dixie stampie, and watching Kayli play in her softball game.

This afternoon my brother will find out if they are having a boy or a girl! Look for updates this evening. Can't wait to shop for pink or blue.

Can He Get Any Cuter?

Not my year

On vacation, we missed seeing the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Statesville because of rain. I was very sad because I was really looking forward to it. This weekend, we missed the Kite Festival at Wrightsville Beach because there was not enough wind. Well, at least not enough wind the two times we tried stopping by(11am and at 4:30). Of course the wind picked up in between our visits at 1pm... So once again I was sad... for a few minutes... until I heard the my children laughing while they ran up and down the sand dunes. And then I saw the beautiful sky over the ocean... and I was cheered up.

We are the Champions

Sing it... We are the Champions. Jack's team went undefeated, won the championship game today and got a first place trophy. He loved his first year of soccer and I loved watching him and meeting some great parents.
