I worked on Black Friday so when I got home to the kids, Emma asked me if we could have a date night. Of course I wanted to have a date with my baby. She planned the whole night out. We got ice cream, then saw the Wrigthsville Beach tree lighting and Santa, then pizza for dinner. She was such a happy, talkative girl!
Those of you that know Emma, know she gets shy in front of a lot of people and usually is attached to me. Well, not last night. I was so proud of her. She walked up to Santa, give him a huge hug, told him what she wanted for Christmas, and smiled for a picture. Mrs. Clause said Emma is an old pro at this. Ha if she only knew.
