Apple Picking

In the 29 years I have been alive, I have never gone apple picking. Since it was later in the season to pick apples, we had to use a apple stick to get the apples from the top of the tree. We had a really good time.

Family

Thankfully we were able to see Marco's family twice during our trip. We spent the night there our first night of the trip and then on the way back we had dinner with them. Madison is so cute!

Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in Boone, NC. We hiked Grandfather Mountain, Lanville Falls, Blowing Rock and many other trails.

New Buddies

Jack and Matt are soccer buddies. Since yesterday was Columbus Day and I had off work, we had a play date with Matt, Avery, and his mommy.

Beach in October?

Saturday, October 10th, after the soccer game it was too nice to pass up the beach. We were able to play with some other boys in the neighborhood.

Tiger Sharks

Jack's soccer team, The Tiger Sharks, are still undefeated. Jack scored two goals in Saturday's game. Through five games, Jack has scored 9 goals. Most importantly, he is having so much fun playing!

Half time

Elizabeth (next to Jack) came over to play after daycare last week. Then Isabelle from next door ran over so we played a game of kick ball. Ice-pops are always a nice half time snack.

2nd Place

Michael got 2nd place in his age group. It was a 5 mile run over all 3 Wilmington bridges. Lots of hills but he did great.

Girlfriends

Emma and Avery just became girlfriends. She is the sister of Matt who plays on Jack's soccer team. The girls hang out while the boys win their soccer games. Jack scored 5 goals this weekend. The team we played was really bad but still 5 goals.... that is awesome

RIVERFEST

We went downtown for the pirate flotilla on Saturday night.

Then saw some great fireworks!
