Jack re-played this video over and over again. He thought it was the funniest thing! One minute Emma is saying cheese and the next minute she is gone.

Sunday night our neighbor, Emme had a beach birthday party at Wrightsville Beach.

Thursday night at the Carolina Beach Boardwalk. They just put rides down there and boy did Jack have fun. We had some dinner, a snow cone, listened to the band, and rode a lot of rides. Carolina Beach is pretty redneck but it didn't bother us.

Jack and I went on the Ferris wheel together. The view at the top was beautiful.

Sharks

Jack was invited tonight to go to a birthday party at the Sharks baseball game.

Our own beds

We spend last Friday to Monday at the beach house, Tuesday at our house, and the last several nights dog sitting at my parents house while they were in Mexico. We are now finally home in our own beds! My parents have a pool so we swam a ton. On Sunday we made it to the beach and played with Brodie and Dafne.

Wrightsville Beach

Life was a dream this weekend. We stayed at an oceanfront house at Wrightsville Beach. I hope someday our family can enjoy that life full-time. We had the best STAY-cation.

The best thing about staying in town is that friends and family get to enjoy the beautiful view. Our friends Meg, Vinny, and Griffin came over Friday night for dinner and to watch the hockey game.

The master tub was the biggest tub I have seen. Jack said it is so big that he could swim in it. He wanted to take a bath all the time and use the jets.

My brother and family were in town for a wedding. Madison hung out with us while they were at the wedding Saturday.

Sunday, Uncle Marco played in the water and built him a tunnel to crawl through.

Monday, Ali and her kids came over to enjoy the beach.

We took the kids mini-golfing. Jack could not stop thanking us for taking him there. He would go back everyday if we let him. On the 5th hole he hit a hole-in-one!!!!

Army Wives

"Army Wives” returns for a third season with 18 all-new episodes, premiering Sunday, June 7, at 10 pm et/pt. The show follows the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women — and one man — living with their spouses and families on an active Army post.

I really like this show and if you get a chance you should check it out. You can watch season one and two on the computer so you can know what is coming on. Love it! I have heard from one army wife in the area that the show is so real. Any army wives out there.... what do you think???

How Funny

My parents took Jack to see the Disney movie, Up. They all said it was a great movie. While they were there the boys got in the photo booth. Aren't these pictures so cute of my dad making funny faces and Jack laughing?!
